Infrared coagulation

Infrared coagulation is a non-invasive procedure that involves the coagulation of pathologically-altered rectal tissues using infrared radiation. Light waves are delivered directly to the target structure, which cause it to shrink and completely recede.

During this procedure, InnMed Clinic uses a laser with extremely powerful water-absorption properties, allowing for the precise and safe removal of tissue formations with minimal thermal damage to the skin.

Infrared coagulation does not cause any discomfort to the patient. Because the laser energy is used to coagulate piles from the inside, the mucous membrane and skin in the anal area remain undamaged, making the procedure pain-free.

The infrared coagulation procedure is currently recognised as the most advanced and effective, as well as minimally invasive, haemorrhoid removal method. As it is based on the vaporisation of water in the tissues, this method avoids a surgical incision, reducing the risk of scarring while offering an excellent result.
